By accessing or using the CleanMD website and browser-based tools (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of the Service

The Service provides client-side Markdown editing, preview, and export features. Availability may change; we may modify or discontinue features without notice.

Your content

You retain rights to content you enter or load into the Service. You are responsible for your content and for having any rights needed to use it. We do not claim ownership of your Markdown or exports from the local conversion workflow.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or others’ use of it.
• Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law forbids this restriction.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Conversion results depend on your input and software on your device; we do not guarantee error-free output or compatibility with every application.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANYTHING, THEN (B) APPLIES.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate third-party services (for example optional analytics). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. See our Privacy policy for how optional analytics is handled.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do. If you continue to use the Service after changes, you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of this deployment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
